The Bachelor of Art and Design (Honours) is designed to develop the research and analytical skills of students, preparing them for entry into various professional art and design roles, or other professions or academia where a rigorous academic standard is applied in the activity.

Myra joined UniSA as a lecturer in visual communication (graphic design) in 2011. Holding a PhD in Typography and Graphic Communication and an MA in Information Design, Myra aims to create a learning environment where students are challenged to produce thoughtful functional communication that focuses on solving design problems for a specific audience. Her research interests lie in design for reading generally, however she is particularly interested in literacy materials for children and typography for children with reading difficulties.
