icam Australasia
icam Australasia is a regional network of the International Confederation of Architectural Museums (icam).
icam's objectives are to:
- Preserve the architectural record
- Raise the quality and protection of the built environment
- Foster the study of architectural history in the interest of future practice
- Stimulate the public appreciation of architecture
- Promote the exchange of information and professional expertise.
Members of icam Australasia include representatives of Australasian institutions – universities, libraries, museums and archives – holding collections of architectural, design and allied records, members of the professional body, the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA), and archivists associated with architectural practices.
icam Australasia meets annually. The most recent meeting was hosted by the Architecture Museum, School of Art, Architecture and Design, UniSA, on Friday 25 October 2019 at the City West campus, UniSA. The program is available HERE (294KB downloadable PDF).

Collecting Architectural Drawings: A Manual
This is an advanced draft (draft J uploaded 6 November 2019) of the manual for architectural drawings conservators which is being prepared by Miles Lewis, as authorised by the 2017 icam Australasia AGM at Perth. Comments and contributions have been sought from all members, especially on those aspects where the coverage of the states is uneven or in some cases possibly incomplete.
